Feast of Our Lady Mary Help of Christians: The Maltese Ursuline Sisters are holding their annual devotion and celebration in honour of Mary Help of Christians during Holy Mass on Sunday 16^th May 2010 at 5.00 p.m. in St Thomas More Church, Henry Road, Manor House, London N4 2LH (The nearest Underground Station is Finsbury Park).  After Mass a procession with the statue of Our Lady will take place from the church to the sisters’ convent in Adophus Road, London N4 2AY where a reception is kindly offered to the attending congregation. Over the years many Maltese participated in this festivity that is growing in popularity among the Maltese Community.  Everyone is invited to attend and demonstrate their devotion to Our Lady, Mary Help of Christians.

Imnarja Celebration - on Saturday 26th June 2010 - An all day event to be held at the Roland Philipps Scout Centre at 65 Copley Street (off Stepney Way) London E1 3DF. We will start with a Folk Mass commemorating the Saints Peter and Paul.  After mass we shall open the Fair, selling many Maltese products such as Pastizzi, Imqaret, Kinnie Cisk lager and many other Maltese groceries and delicacies.  In fact we would be selling anything Maltese that we can lay our hands on.  For the evening we haven't as yet decided on format and venue. At the moment we are monitoring feedback as to how this celebration should take form and would announce it later. In the meantime please send us your ideas and feedback. 

Malta Day-UK - on Saturday 11th September 2010 - An all day event organised under the auspices of the Malta High Commission in London:  Maltese Fair at Westminster Cathedral Hall in the morning (at about 10.00am), Solemn Mass in the afternoon (about 2.30pm) followed by Street Procession with the Statue of Our Lady of Victories, (il-Bambina), with brass band and fireworks.  In the evening the celebrations will continue with a Gala Dinner & Dance, during which, the cabaret will include some top Maltese entertainers brought from Malta especially for this occasion.  Since this year will be our tenth anniversary we are planning something special among which we are inviting the Archbishop of Malta Monsignor Paul Cremona to concelebrate the Mass, the President of Malta H. E. Dr George Abela and Hon Dr Tonio Borg Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister as guests of honour.  More details and full programme will follow later.  Mark this date in your diary. This is an event that no true Maltese should miss! 

New Year's Eve Party 2010 - Thursday 31st December - Start the New Year in a truly Maltese way! - Full programme and venue will be announced later.

Bingo Nights are held every first Sunday of the month at the Roland Philipps Scout Centre, 65 Copley Street, (off Stepney Way) London E1 3DF at 6.30pm as part of our fund raising programme.  Maltese food and drink are enjoyed during these gatherings!  Entrance is free and everyone is welcome!  Hall location MAP>> These meetings usually follow the 4.30pm Mass said at St Boniface Church in Aldgate East.
